Ensuring cleaner conditions
January 1st 2005 Remploy has invested in two of Nederman’s FilterMax C25 modules and six FilterBenches to provide a cleaner environment for employees at its Merthyr Tydfil site.
Metal safety gates made by the company are of MIG welded construction and, before being sent for powder coating, they undergo grinding and sanding to remove all traces of weld-spatter.
The FilterBenches serve as comfortable work-stations. Weld spatter drops through the perforated work surface and is drawn off to two FilterMax units outside.
Six filters in each unit remove particles from the air.
They are then dislodged from the filter cartridges by jets of air and drop into collection bins.
The entire system is automatic and virtually maintenance-free.
