March 1st 2006 New from Engis UK is the multiSpot2 welding unit which is reported to be ideally suited to mould repairing welding tasks. The unit will enable many welding tasks to be carried out in-house, avoiding unnecessary downtime, additional transport costs and loss of direct control on the work in hand. The pulsating functions enable optimum and very thin welding to seams, corners and edges.
The multiSpot2 offers six different welding processes in one apparatus: multiSpot Single Pulse, for the most delicate and exact welding, multiSpot Continuous Pulse for welding very thin seams, WIG DC for small and medium repairs, as well as WIG CD-pulse and AD and a separate mode for welding with rod electrodes.
