Small and portable welder

The Murex Tradestig AC/DC 161iS welding power source is a small and portable, inverter based unit that provides 10A to 160A AC & DC TIG welding for bodyshops, repair and light fabrication applications.

Incorporating a powerful arc starter, this power source can weld aluminium at up to 160A, equivalent to some 4-5mm thickness, from a 230V 13A domestic supply.

The square wave AC output provides excellent cleaning and arc stability and AC balance can be varied ą30%. The DC arc initiation is now electric, independent of tungsten temperature or condition.

The start current can be varied from 10A to 100% of main current and slope out facility is available. 2 or 4 stroke TIG torch switch operation can be selected as well as a non HF start mode for DC applications.
