Purging system for high temperatures
March 1st 2006 Huntingdon Fusion Techniques (HFT) has witnessed a significant growth in orders for weld purge systems capable of withstanding the higher temperatures used during preheating of welds.
Recent orders from the USA and Spain for systems covering the range 500 to 750mm (20 to 30 inches) diameter have been received to allow the use of pre-heat temperatures to 300°C for 24hours.
The purge systems are an extension of the standard HFT product line and incorporate a thermally resistant covering on the inflatable sections over the product.
