Multi-use weld machine

Low weight and practical simplicity are features of GenSet's multi-function electrofusion and metal welding machine which is combined with AC power generator.

At just 36kg, the machine is expected to appeal to utility firms who need to weld metal or plastic pipe in remote or difficult areas.

The unit has an output voltage range from 8 to 44V, with a peak current of 85A, making it capable of fusing up to 300mm size fittings. Fusion data is entered manually or automatically via an RS232-enabled barcode reader pen. Its internal memory will store details on the last 200 welds, Hard copy data printing is available through an RS232 connector.

The unit also doubles as a 130A arc electrode welder, with a striking voltage between 21 and 25V, easily handling a standard 2.5mm mild steel welding rod.

The GenSet Electrofusion Unit is also a handy portable electricity generator with a maximum power output of 2.5KVA.
