Murex says it has the answer with its Tradesmig 140-1 unit that weighs just 25kg. A single phase 230V welding machine that can be used with both conventional solid wire and selfshielding cored wire, the Trademig 140-1 is designed for welding of steel and stainless steel as well as for brazing. The unit is equipped with four voltage steps for adjustment of power and it provides 35-130 amp current output. Wire diameters from 0.6mm to 0.8mm can be used with wire feed speeds of 2-14m/minute and it uses 5kg wire spools. A gascooled MXL 150v Torch with an ergonomic handle and work return lead is provided. Optimum cooling of the torch gives extended lift time of the swan necks and the wear parts. For flexibility, users can choose gas nozzles in three different versions: standard, straight and conical.
