Torque sensor January 1st 2006 Sensor Technology will be displaying on its MTEC stand its complete range of TorqSense transducers and TorqView2, a complementary software programme that generates a visual instrumentation display of the TorqSense output.
TorqSense measures the characteristics of rotating shafts in real time, including torques, speed, power and positional angle, using a non-contact technique that has redefined the ease and accuracy with which such data can be collected.
TorqView2 lets the data generated be displayed on a fullsized screen, in a variety of graphical and textural forms, as well as collecting and analysing it.
TorqSense units use a radio frequency signal for both power and signal communication so does not require physical contact with the rotating shaft.
Stand number D20 More articles from Sensor Technology Ltd: When two is better than one (1st February 2008) Sensor Technology, the company that developed practical non-contact torque measurement, will once again unveil a major innovation at the MTEC Exhibition. New for 2008 is TorqSense RWT 330/340series, designed for use in applications where space is limited, and provides non-contact measurement of torque, speed, power and position of rotating shafts, such as machine drives, drive shafts for pumps, fans, mixers etc, and in the critical axes of test rigs...
