Single-Wire Solution

Mould pressure sensors from Kistler now include indirect measurement and single-wire, replaceable cable, and have an increased maximum operating temperature of 200°C. The new sensors simplify installation and reduce service costs by allowing the connecting cable to be replaced on site by the user.

The single wire cables simplify mould manufacturing by needing only a bored hole. Cable can be cut to length after installation. As several cables can be threaded down a single bore, the single wire sensor is suitable for multi-cavity mould applications.

The new sensors are also suitable for use with multi-channel cable technology, allowing up to eight sensors to be connected to a Kistler process monitoring system using a single cable and connector.
