The Torbar flowmeter can now be fitted with a differential pressure transmitter from a range of well known makes.

The specification of the transmitter can include pressure and temperature measurement for compensated mass flow measurement. Close coupling to the Torbar is said to cut installation costs while making the flowmeter package less susceptible to ambient temperature fluctuations and vibration. Torbars come in a range of sizes for pipes and ducts from 13 to 10 000mm dia.
