Ergonomic, easy-to-use coating system
May 1st 2007 Another of ITW Gema's
Optiflex powder coating
systems has been delivered
by Hi-Tec Spray to the specialist
trade coater of steel and
aluminium, Custom WyteLyne.
The Optiflex system is easy-touse,
quick-to-clean and, with two
small, front-mounted wheels and
two larger rear wheels, is simple to
manoeuvre. The company says a
further benefit was the saving on
powder, sufficient to self-finance
the purchase within eight months.
The system offers up to 20
coating programs and 3 pre-set
programs – for flat parts, complex
parts and re-coat, which can be
achieved without the need to
preheat, saving on oven costs.
The control unit gives a uniform,
powder transport capability
enabling precision application with
reproducible results for standard or
metallic finishes and no re-visits.
Ergonomically designed, the
gun combines comfort, speed and
