At-source extraction

Available from Junair Spraybooths, Smartair is an at-source extraction system that allows paint finishing processes to be carried out without the need for a conventional spraybooth, yet in full accordance with the emission requirements of the Environmental Protection Act.

Suitable for medium area (750 by 500mm) priming, base coat and clear coat applications, as well as refinishing small repairs, the system helps reduce booth dependency and enables greater use of an installed spraybooth, increasing throughput and reducing the need for subcontracting the finishing process.

Smartair has a hood and masking design. The masking is quickly folded over the hood, creating an enclosure. When the extraction system is switched on, air is funnelled into the aperture, creating a positive flow of air into the hood.

This captures and disperses paint overspray and fumes, protecting the working environment.
