September 1st 2005 A new machine from Alfa Laval uses high speed centripetal force to remove tramp oils, grease and solids such as metal fines from cutting fluids and coolants – all contaminants that can cause dermatitis, eczema and other illnesses.
Capable of handling 500L of fluid per hour and separating out solids down to 1µ in size, Alfie 500 provides a high degree of operator convenience and control. Selfcontained, it is simply wheeled alongside a coolant/cutting fluid tank, plugged in, and starts to work immediately.
