Alternative to Trike November 1st 2005 Enviro Tech Europes EnSolv 5408 is an alternative to Trichloroethylene (Trike) and has been listed by Boeing as approved for use under the requirements of its BAC 5408 requirements.
Derek Carpenter, sales and marketing director, says "The aerospace industry has long awaited an alternative to Trike, so this approval will allow it to move forward. It will also be welcomed as a safer alternative for employees who use these chemicals when maintaining the critical standards of aircraft maintenance."
It can be used on all the usual metals and most plastics and elastomers common to aerospace. |
