Control Opta is a new assembly process management solution from Crane Electronics. It networks all torque measurement stations within an enterprise, enabling centralised real time SPC-based process control and giving complete torque traceability.

The system is web-based and data input is provided through torque tools in the Crane Opta range. The software system collects the data and offers powerful SPC analysis, as well as control and data management to supervisors and management.

Out of condition alarms are a key feature of the system, enabling automatic email and SMS alerts to supervisors with automatic escalation routings as appropriate.
