SUPER CLAMP

Working with one of Europe’s largest automotive manufacturers, Brauer has developed an adjustable super-clamp.

The ASP500 (Adjustable Stay-Put clamp) with 500 Newton’s holding force, has the capability to exert no pressure at all on the article being clamped so there is no deformation.

The clamp locks against itself; fixing pressure is taken up by the inner mechanism of the clamp and can be used to hold thin panels or soft materials without deforming them. An integral fine micrometer screw adjustment allows the measurement of very fine dimensional deviations by means of a special plunger that can be moved towards the fixtured component while measuring the conformity of the component through a dial gauge.
