Specialist Simco distributor, WLT, is targeting the cabinet making and timber industries with a range of anti-static devices that are designed to remove dust and debris prior to finishing.

Typical of the product range is the new Cobra static ionizing gun that has been developed for neutralising static over almost any wooden surface.

The gun, supplied with 6m of cable, has a range of up to 2000mm and is said to be especially good at removing small particles from wooden and plastic mouldings.

Features include built-in point cleaning system for easy maintenance and a facility that allows two guns to operate from one power source.

For large flat panels, such as doors, moving along a conveyor belt, WLT offers a P-SH-N-Ex antistatic long bar, capable of operating at a distance of up to 600mm from the target surface area, making it suitable for use where high output is required in a restricted area.
