Encoders meet all resolution requirement

Inmoco says it is taking precision in servo and linear positioning systems to a new level with the introduction of its Mercury range of smart encoder systems from MicroE Systems.

Offering linear resolutions in the range from 5ľ to 5nanometers and rotary resolutions in the 6600 to 67.2million CPR, the encoders are based on MicroE Systems' SmartPrecision electronics and PurePrecision optics technologies.

The company says this gives them the advantages of programmability, miniature sensor size, broad alignment tolerances for easy setup, accuracy enhancement, optical index, and wide range of operating resolutions and speeds.
