With the opening of its own manufacturing and warehousing premises in Shanghai, PIX Europe is now able to cater for OEMs seeking the savings associated with manufacturing in China, but also requiring the quality guarantee and convenience of working with a Europebased company.

It gives producers, who might not have had sufficient volumes to consider direct import in their own right, the opportunity to enjoy the price advantages. It also caters for OEMs who have previously been put off dealing with China, by the 'hassle factor'.

The time from original blueprints to initial delivery is between 12 and 16 weeks.

Pix has appointed an industry specialist, Joanne Toon, to develop this side of the business, liaising directly with OEM clients, projectmanaging their specific requirements.
