Longer lasting,diamond grinding discs

A new range of longer lasting, diamond grinding discs for surface preparation of metal, ceramic and polymeric solid materials prior to metallographic or similar analysis has been launched by Aptex.

Manufactured by Danish company Akasel ApS, Aptex has exclusive UK distribution for the Piatto Grinding Discs. Offering an alternative to several grinding paper stages with a single disc machining stage, Piatto discs are suitable for use with all materials having hardness greater than 150HV.

There are three disc diameters available from 20 to 300mm and five grit sizes for each diameter, from P80 up to P1200 (200 to 15 Micron).
