Air-powered clinchers

The latest portable clinching pliers from Eckold are air-operated, making them suitable for a wide range of general workshop applications. Two models are available: the MDZ 35/35 and the MDZ 45/30, offering variations on clinching force, as well as horizontal throat and access gap clearance dimensions.

The company says the products show an approximate 40% saving in purchase price compared to equivalent electrically operated models.

The latest clinchers are designed to have a universal appeal due to their simple plug-in and use capabilities.

They accommodate both square (SDF) and round (R-DF) clinching joints, providing a cost effective and convenient alternative to spot welding or riveting.
