Intelligent solutions for machine tool applications

The Rexroth stand at MACH 2004 will feature the companys latest cross-technology as well as individual solutions. Main technology areas with a presence at the show include: industrial hydraulics; electric drives and controls; pneumatics and linear motion; and assembly technology. The companys service automation business will also feature. Launched onto the UK market for the first time are the new AR6/AR8 articulated robots with six axes and state-of-the-art cnc platform. Also being launched at the show is what is believed to be the worlds first completely open cnc control system for metal cutting and forming machine tools. Complete with intelligent ac-servos, frequency converters and electrohydraulic drives, IndraMotion MTX open loop control system communicates via a SERCOS interface and can be networked easily using Ethernet TCP/IP. Visitors to the stand will be invited to browse the feature-packed Bosch Rexroth website in a special Internet Caf equipped with four online portals and enjoy coffee and cookies.
