The latest Crane Electronics torque indicator and data collector, TorqueStar Opta, aims to deliver maximum flexibility. This is achieved with a modular software construction enabling the customer to customise the device to more closely match requirements. Additional software modules can be added as needs change. The Opta features a clear and easily read graphic lcd, and all software is multi-lingual. The intuitive icon-driven menu structure allows the operator to navigate quickly through the set-up of the unit and the standard Quick Read function enables measurements to be taken with just two key presses straight from the box. An RS232 output is standard and a barcode reader can also be used.
