The press world has tended to fall into either basic manual versions or sophisticated models with integrated computer systems.

Schmidt Technology believes it is possible to combine the two. Its 307 design combines the simple reliability of a precision Rack & Pinion press with linked process and electronic stroke control via a touch panel control, and supported by USB interface data of crucial management value.

Suitable for short run, light duty assembly and manufacturing projects, even of a complex nature, 307 offers totally programmable variations of stroke stops and work profiles supported by independently proven measuring and quality control technology.

Features of the manual press range include a force of 4kN, adjustable ram stroke of 0- 50mm and variable working height of 90 to 260mm. Weight is 30kg.

Schmidt can provide two linked software options: ControlTool; and Statistical Process Control. The former offers Windows-based software for automatic download of press data after completion.
