CAE software January 1st 2006 The Machine Building show will be used by Eplan to demonstrate an electrical tool for the schematic design and documentation of industrial automation systems.
The PC-based software, sold and supported in the UK by Rittal, can be used either as a stand-alone system or by several designers working simultaneously on a project across a network. Time savings, improved quality and efficiency are all benefits claimed.
The company says return on investment is easily achieved as the required evaluations - such as point to point wiring lists, cable, terminal and connector data - are all generated automatically and output as part of the drawing set of the project or as a file to be exported to spreadsheets.
