management system
developed by Hurst Green
Plastics is designed to
reduce wastage of fasteners
and other small parts in, for
example, the aerospace
industry. A new, cost
effective rack has recently
been developed to
accommodate the TwinBins.
A former arrangement,
based on welded steel
racks custom-fabricated for
each order, had limitations.
These have been eliminated
in a new design developed
in conjunction with ADM
Automation, which is based
on aluminium extrusions
and accessories from the
Bosch Rexroth MGE range.
The new racking includes
three sizes of MGE
extrusions and coupling
components from the same
range. Special components
designed by ADM are
secured to the structure with
standard fasteners from the
MGE range.
The versatile racking can
be made quickly, is much
lighter than its steel
predecessor and can be
