Newself-clinch studs
March 1st 2007

Northern Precision, supplier of fastenings and cold-formed parts, have brought out a new range of NFHL self-clinching reduced flush head studs.

Designed specifically for applications requiring installation close to a bend or the edge of a panel, the new studs provide strong toque resistant captivated male threads in thin panels.

Available in steel and stainless steel in M2.5-M5 thread sizes, and designed for use on 1mm to 2.41mm thick panels, type NFH flush head clinch studs install fully flush on the back of panels so minimal surface finishing is required after installation.

The special castellated clinch feature provides excellent torque out and push out resistance.

Like all self-clinching fasteners, type NFH are installed using a parallel squeezing action from both sides of the panel.
