Showing cleaning solutions
May 1st 2008

Taking place at the Stuttgart Exhibition centre from 28th to 30th October, parts2clean is an international trade fair for those involved with cleaning within the production process.

The proportion of production time and costs required for cleaning is considerable for many components. Cleaning time comes in at roughly 10% for an auto body frame component made of steel, and expenditure can be about 5% of total manufacturing costs. This figure can be as high as 25% for ball bearings, according to figures cited by the Market and Trend Analysis division of the Fraunhofer Alliance for Cleaning Technology.

parts2clean will feature product and service offerings to cover the entire sequence for cleaning within the production process. Included will be systems and equipment for individual parts cleaning and functional surface cleaning, as well as for batch processes, even in cleanrooms.

Where cleaning agents are concerned, suppliers are working towards improved economy, environmental compatibility and shorter process times through ongoing development.

Media treatment too has an influence on the efficiency of the cleaning process – especially in the case of aqueous cleaning.

Effective filtration and separation systems are in demand (oil separators, particle filters, membrane filters, and so on) and these will feature at parts2clean.

In addition to the exhibition, there will be an 'expert forum' which will present comprehensive know-how on all aspects of cleaning within the production process.
