New division

A new division has been set up by Turbex to focus on the cleaning of dies and moulds.

Using a combination of ultrasonics and water-based cleaning agents, the Turbex process is said to eliminate the need for labour-intensive methods and significantly improving the cleaning quality. Other benefits claimed include cost savings, improved output quality and longer intervals between cleaning.

Simon Hancock, MD, explains "We wanted to ensure the correct focus on this sector. We have done a lot of research and development and there are real financial paybacks available to customers in the plastics and rubber industries where moulds or dies are used."
