Air solution
July 1st 2004

The Jet Stream system from Meech is a cost effective surface cleaning solution that works by blowing high pressure ionised air over items to be cleaned.

Clients can select a suite of components to precisely match requirements and the company believes the system is particularly applicable as a precursor to painting operations in a variety of manufacturing sectors.

It uses high pressure air generated by a fan unit and delivered to outlet manifolds from which it discharges at velocities to 100m/sec. As air exits the manifold it passes between two Model 910 static elimination bars and is ionised. On reaching the target substrate, ionized air neutralises any static charges present, enabling high velocity air to blow statically bonded debris from the surface. Contamination, turbulence and entrainment of potentially dirty ambient air is minimised.
