Partitioning creates offices July 1st 2006 Modular steel partitiioning systems supplied by Troax UK have been used to create a series of offices, conference rooms and production facilities at the Newcastle under Lyme plant of Leoni Wiring Systems UK, part of the Leoni Group.
Troax's Excalibur range of double skin steel partitioning was used to construct the new facilities for Leoni, which develops and supplies fully integrated electrical and electronic distribution systems to European vehicle manufacturers such as Land Rover, Porsche and BMW.
The existing production area was reconfigured completely by main contractor Jones Builders to create a new 'competence centre' with offices, meeting rooms and conference and training facilities which are used by design, customer service ands other administrative departments.
Excalibur partitioning is suited to this type of project. Its steel panels are of monobloc construction, comnprining two steel skins separated by a composite insulating infill; the design compleis with all relevant haelth and safety legislation and also provides effective sound and heat insulation.
