A foot-operated lid option is the latest enhancement to the Continental trade waste container range available from Egbert H Taylor and Co.

The HandsFree lid allows users to deposit bulky items easily and cleanly without having to put down the load in order to open the lid. Minimal effort is required to operate the mechanism that opens the lid sufficiently to provide

access to the container. If required, the lid can be folded back for larger items of waste. The HandsFree lid also removes the need to touch the container exterior with clothing or hands.

Available as an option of all new 1100 and 1280l Continental containers, the lids robust mechanism is made in galvanised mild steel and housed in a protective tubular steel section.
