Skip Units Group, has introduced a two-piece sliding plastic-roofed RoRo container for food and other applications.

Designed for ease of operation and resistance to accidental damage, the new unit features two lightweight, yet robust, plastic roofs that slide over each other. They are said to be far easier to operate than a steel roof and will recover from most accidental impacts.

The roof is designed in sections for ease of repair in the event of more serious impacts.The sections shed rain, are lockable and seal round the edges of the container to guard against spills and ensure safe containment of liquids. The plastic-roofed containers are available in all sizes to 45m3.

Skip Units, Randalls Fabrications and Castle Containers manufacture different capacities, lengths and heights of open and roofed RoRo containers. Units range from lightweight, upright containers for collection of paper and cardboard to heavy duty upright containers for scrap metal, sand and gravel.
