Castrol oil audit helps compliance with regs

With the September cut-off date for compliance with UK Oil Storage legislation just a few months away, Castrol Specialised Industrial is offering an oil storage audit for companies that have not yet complied.

The audit is part of a Castrol package designed to provide a single solution to the problem by offering the advice, equipment and installation services required to help achieve compliance.

Neil Pearson of Castrol comments “The implications associated with oil storage are now much more serious and, for many companies, the new regulations may seem daunting, even alarming. They mean that if you store oil on your premises, you must comply with a new set of rules that focus on safeguarding people and the environment.”

The one-day audit is carried out by qualified Castrol professionals for a nominal charge. It includes a gap analysis report recommending fully costed solutions to any problems identified. The cost of the audit is usually refunded if recommendations are actioned through Castrol.
