Tough on top
July 1st 2005

A dry shake surface hardening system, Sikafloor MetalTop, was selected as the topping for new concrete floor slabs in an extension built at Newsquest Media Group’s Oxford printing plant Within the blend of materials that make up Sikafloor MetalTop are hard alloy aggregates containing titanium. Sika says this produces one of the hardest surfaces of all flooring systems. The surface has anti-static properties, is dust-free and resistant to oils, chemicals and solvents. An ageing treatment can provide enhanced slip-resistance.
