After a year spent searching for stainless steel AC motors compatible with its range of stainless steel mixers, Euromixers of Stockport has achieved its goal: AEG division, Marlin Stainless.

According to Euromixers, Marlin was the only firm to offer a range of motors covering frame sizes from 63 to 132 with power ratings from 0.18 to 7.5kW. IP66 rating also enables pressure hose wash downs.

The 3-phase Marlins are all metric IECs, giving complete interchange-ability with existing motors - both original builds and retrofits.

Corrosion resistant and hygiene characteristics (e.g.

no paint to flake) are enhanced by smooth exteriors to thwart dirt and germs (data is etched into the motor body). Any risk of motor ingress is also designed out by an NTN Blue double lip seal and a GAMMA seal fitted on the shaft.
