Tubs of gel January 1st 2006 Kays Medical now produces its own version of calcium gluconate gel following a request from a multi-national petro-chemical company for larger tubs of the product.
A workplace incident had required the application of a lot more gel than was contained in a single tube.
Calcium gluconate gel combines with hydrofluoric acid to neutralise the fluoride ion. Bone, deep tissue damage and the risk of cardiac arrest can be reduced with the immediate application of the gel.
Two sizes are offered: the standard 28g tube and now a 500g tub.
