Solvent-free
September 1st 2005

Cold liquid-applied waterproofing is considered a reliable method for both new-build or refurbishment of flat roofs and avoids the risks associated with torchapplied processes. Kemper believes its new, solventfree system offers further benefits.

The Kemperol range of resins uses a polyester fleece-based system and now includes a solvent-free option - 2K-Pur. This retains the strength and durability of Kemper’s traditional products but, as it is odourless, can be applied without the need for buildings to be evacuated.

In addition to the environmental benefits, this is useful when refurbishing buildings such as manufacturing plants in the food and pharmaceutical industries and hospitals where continued occupancy makes project scheduling easier and avoids costly shutdowns.

Handbook and datasheet are available from Kemper.
