Swift Loading September 18th 2003 CM Downton has purchased its first five Joloda full skate and combi track systems and has found the systems to provide a simple, safe and fast method of moving heavy products from the front to the rear of a trailer
The standard skate and combi track system works by skates being placed in recessed tracks and rolled under the load. Skates and load are then raised by pulling down the handles. This means the load, which can be any weight up to 3t, is ‘live’ and can be freely pushed the length of the trailer
Skates include manual and automatic braking, self-centering and need minimal maintenance
They are also said to allow loading at a 33% faster rate than the conventional method. More articles from Joloda International: |
