on use, making them suitable for
areas where access to light fittings
for maintenance is difficult.
The company says areas with
high roofs, such as factories and
warehouses, that are currently
using SON (high pressure sodium)
or metal halide light sources, will
achieve reductions in energy and
maintenance costs by installing
Endurance luminaires.
When Knauf Drywall compared
life cycle costs for Endurance
against conventional low bay
discharge fittings for its South
Humberside warehouse, savings in
excess of £50 000 per annum were
predicted. This includes more than
£41 000 on electricity, with more
than £4400 additional savings on
the Climate Change Levy and
£7600 savings on maintenance
