Quick to fix
November 1st 2004

The low weight Fast-Lock suspension system from Thomas & Betts suspends ducts, pipes, cable trays and fans from ceilings using steel wire rope and specially developed self-fastening locks.

Wire can be looped around overhead structures so, in some buildings, installation is possible without any drilling or anchoring.

Where there is no access around the structure, Fast-Lock can be installed easily with purlin clips, flange clips or beam clamps.

The company says it can take as little as 1min to fix each suspension point. Locks can be set precisely and adjusted without additional tools if ducts need to be rehung.

Fast-Lock has a safe working load of 50kg and a 5:1 safety ratio.
