Outsourcing HVAC needs

BNFL now outsources its HVAC service and maintenance needs and has chosen Eaton-Williams (EWS) as the supplier for its Springfields site near Preston.

EWS is delivering a mix of planned preventative maintenance, with an emphasis on energy efficiency.

The critical nature of BNFL's business means all plant must be well maintained to maximise performance and minimise energy use and waste.

Much of the HVAC equipment is Eaton- Williams' branded products and includes chillers, Moducel air handling and IPAC units, Edenaire close control Series 600 units and a variety of splits systems and window units.

The contract is backed by emergency 24/7 response.
