The CAT4 from Chalmor provides heating control for all types of system, including electric, warm air, radiant and wet heating systems. It incorporates boiler load control to boost efficiency by adjusting the boiler firing pattern to suit loads and ambient temperatures.

Standard control functions include a self-adaptive optimum start facility, weather compensation with the option of direct boiler compensation or control via a motorised valve. The controller offers single or two zone heating control with independent time and temperature control for each zone, as well as time and temperature control for hot water services.

There are sensor inputs for external temperature, boiler flow and return, hot water and two space temperature sensors. There is also a two-stage frost facility.
