Factory's cool solution July 1st 2007 ColepCCL in Scunthorpe
has resolved the problem of
high summer temperatures
in areas of its factory where
machinery and solar heat
contributed to indoor
temperatures of up to 35°C.
The company has
installed a Seeley
International Breezair
evaporative cooling system,
which has reduced
temperatures to 8°C below
ambient temperature.
Four Breezair coolers
provide localised cooling to
personnel. Temperatures
have been substantially
reduced, providing
employees with a more
comfortable environment.
Mark Gibson,
maintenance manager at
ColepCCL, comments
"Breezair evaporative
cooling is cost effective to
install and run. It provides
lots of cool, fresh air and, at
the same time, is
ecologically attractive to us
as it uses very little energy
and emits no greenhouse
gases or carbon products."
The Breezair system is
controlled by Seeley
International's industrial wall
control. More articles from Seeley International Ltd: |
