Energy saving air curtain
November 1st 2006 Biddle air curtains has announced that it has a new air curtain specifically developed for industrial buildings. The IndAC provides an energy saving means of preventing cold air entering the building whilst enabling the doors to remain open and facilitate movement of vehicles in and out. IndAC differs from traditional industrial air curtains in that it incorporates the patented Double Rectifier which ensures the conditioned air reaches the floor in a straight, vertical line without any expensive energy loss to the outside. The distinctive curved design of the discharge grille means the discharge section is easily installed close to the door, again maximising energy savings. Available with LPHW or electric heating IndAC is suitable for doors up to 6m in height or width, and whilst positioning IndAC in the horizontal plane above the door is the ideal it is also possible to install it vertically up one or both sides of the door.Control of the IndAC can be as simple or as sophisticated as the user requires, with fully automatic control regulating the heat output to suit the internal and external condition More articles from Biddle Air Systems Ltd: |
