When Flo-Dek (UK) was commissioned by Huyck (UK) to refurbish the factory floor area of its headquarters in Kent, it had no hesitation in specifying Ardex SD-T B as a suitable product for the job.

Huyck wanted to change its 1600m2 factory from a manufacturing site to a storage facility and wanted a durable, low maintenance floor surface.

The factory floor had been modified to allow heavy machinery to wit within trenches which required filling and levelling prior to the entire area being primed with Ardex R 3 E solvent-free epoxy primer before receipt of a 10mm application of Ardex SC-T B base mix. The product has built-in ardex Rapidry formula technology so the floor surface dried and hardened in a matter of hours, helping to reduce downtime and resulting in a flat and hard wearing finish.
