Rainwater system success September 1st 2006 When Hunter Plastics refurbished its extrusion moulding facility in London, it opted for Hunter's Stormflo with its 200mm wide profile for the rainwater system.
The company believes Stormflo to be the largest capacity PVC rainwater system available in the UK and it copes comfortably with the high flow rates from the newly renovated building's 6700m2 roof.
The product is said to offer all the advantages of PVC-U, being corrosion resistant, durable and virtually maintenance-free. Lightweight and available in long lengths, Stormflo installations are said to require fewer joints than traditional heavier materials, making it easier to install.
In incorporates the company's Surefit design pivot clips made from a modified plastic, power tool friendly fixing wings, and bottom fixing points.
The stormflo range comprises 4m gutter, support bracket, joint bracket, gutter stopend and running outlet. A choice of 160 or 110mm downpipes and fittings are available according to requirements. More articles from Hunter Plastics: |
