Going deep
November 1st 2006

Clark-Drain is saying 'goodbye' to the shallow drainage channel and introducing a deep plastic channel to its 422 Series.

The company says the product will compete pricewise with shallow channels and that it has design features which offer a performance that outstrips that of the shallow channel.

Features include high water intake and the ability to cope with flash flooding. The company also points to the strict quality control of the recycled materials that constitute the injection moulded thermoplastic construction.

The lightweight design includes male and female connections that lock the 1m channels together and allow the installer to lay up to 4m in one hit. Galvanised slot or plastic mesh grating (selflocking) is offered.
