5.5m fleet expansion
September 1st 2006

A-Plant has expanded its powered access fleet with an order worth more than 5.5m for new products from JLG.

The order comprises both diesel and electric powered Liftlux, RT and ES scissor lifts and 1250AJP, 1350AJP, 800AJ and 860SJ dieselpowered booms.

The battery-powered ES series electric scissor lift models use direct electric drive. JLG says travelling distances of up to 17 miles per charge can be achieved.

The new booms and scissor lifts increase the platform and working heights available in the fleet. the booms take working heights from 26 to 40m and, with the new JLG scissor lifts, maximum platform heights have increased to 24m.
