2007 courses March 1st 2007 Trade association PASMA, (Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association), has published details of its 2007 training courses, available through its nationwide network of approved training centres. Recently updated, its industrystandard training scheme includes known and anticipated legislative requirements and is designed to enable tower owners and users to correctly assemble, use, move, inspect and dismantle mobile access towers. While mobile access towers are frequently used as straightforward towers, there are a host of ancillary components that can be used to transform them into entirely different access solutions. Advanced training modules are available to cover many of these applications. There is also a supervisors' and managers' inspection course. New for 2007, and developed in partnership with the Electrical Contractor's Association, is a low level access course – a standalone, half-day module on access products below 2.5m.
