Duct monitor
May 1st 2004

New from Airflow is an improved range of Wilson Flow Grids to provide engineers and installers with a cost effective method of accurately monitoring air flow within ducted ventilation, process air and air conditioning systems during and after commissioning.

Made to suit any rectangular, circular, flat oval and square ducts to 4m2, they can be used for new ductwork and retrofit applications. The Grid consists of an array of two independent, perforated tubes that are mounted in a grid formation inside a duct.

As air within the duct flows past the tubes, they provide an averaged differential pressure output, that is about 1.5 times the duct mean velocity pressure. Accuracy of reading (to 2%) results in a reliable averaged differential pressure output.
